Snow Here In Fort Worth

This morning we have snow again here in Fort Worth. What a crazy winter it's been. Terry and I have colds and I'm getting over mine, Terry's has just started. Must get busy and work on outstanding projects that have been pending for quite a while. More later.

Storm Spotter Training

Yesterday Terry and I attended basic and advanced NOAA Strom Spotter training in Garland. We both learned so much and Terry now wants to get her Ham Radio Technician license so she too can talk on the radio. Pretty cool. The Spring Storm season is just around the corner here in Texas and it's going to be nice that we now have a better understanding of the formation of severe thunderstorms.

Lenten Season

On Wednesday night my wife, I and our best friend attended Ash Wednesday service at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, TX. The message from the pastor really "hit" home. It's time to refocus our lives onto what matters most in life. We've got to let go and put our lives into HIS hand and trust.
